The XTL 1500 mobile radio was designed to be user-friendly, with a simple interface that minimizes training. An 8-digit alphanumeric display, status icons, programmable buttons and larger-sized knobs streamline operation.

Audio improvements have been designed into the XTL 1500 mobile radio to provide enhanced sound quality for demanding environments. In addition to supporting an external speaker, the internal speaker assures optimal audio for clear, crisp communication. With 48 channels, dual modes (analog and digital), P25-compliant interoperability features, emergency capabilities and more, the XTL 1500 mobile radio links your force together, helping to enhance productivity and ensuring reliable communications.

When it comes to programming, the XTL 1500 mobile radio can easily be programmed via the front of the radio using the same Customer Programming Software (CPS) as the XTL 2500 and XTL 5000 mobile radios. This easy to use, Windows-based customer programming software allows programmers to utilize the drag and drop, clone wizard, and programming over IP capabilities. As your system changes or expands, migrate effortlessly. You can customize, add new software or future enhancements as your needs
grow. Not only is the XTL 1500 mobile radio compatible with trunking digital, trunking analog and digital conventional, it is your affordable entry into P25 interoperability.
